Banquets & Events

Position summary

The Banquets & Events team supports private events, weddings, corporate gatherings, and signature Boathouse occasions. Team members help deliver an organized, welcoming experience before, during, and after each event.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist with event setup, service, guest needs, breakdown, and reset.
• Work with event leaders and teammates to follow the event plan and timing.
• Communicate professionally with guests, vendors, and restaurant team members.
• Help keep event spaces, service areas, equipment, and supplies organized.
• Follow hospitality, safety, sanitation, and venue procedures.
  
  

Qualifications & Experience

• A polished, guest-focused approach and clear communication are essential.
• Hospitality, catering, restaurant, or event experience is helpful.
• Ability to adapt to changing event needs and work well as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays, and event schedules.
  
  

Physical requirements

• This role includes standing, walking, bending, reaching, and moving event supplies.
• Some shifts may require working indoors, outdoors, on the waterfront, or in changing weather.
