WE WANT SOMEONE WHO KNOWS HOW TO MAKE PEOPLE STOP SCROLLING.BoatEye360 is a fast-growing marine technology company building full-color night vision camera systems that help boaters navigate safer after dark.
We're looking for a seriously talented Content Creator / Video Editor who understands what works on social media TODAY.
Not someone who just knows how to cut clips together.
We want someone who understands attention, storytelling, trends, hooks, algorithms, AI-generated content and how great content turns into SALES.
Your mission is simple:
Make BoatEye360 impossible to ignore online.
We want someone who can take boats, cameras, night-vision footage, customer installations, product testing, behind-the-scenes content and crazy ideas—and turn them into professional, entertaining and highly shareable content.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOINGYou'll help create content for:
- Instagram Reels
- Facebook Reels
- TikTok-style short-form videos
- YouTube Shorts
- Facebook and Instagram ads
- Product videos
- Customer installation videos
- Drone footage
- Behind-the-scenes content
- Product launches
- Boat shows and events
- Educational boating content
- Viral/trending concepts
- AI-generated and AI-enhanced content
You'll be expected to shoot, edit and publish content quickly while constantly experimenting with new ideas.
One day you might be filming a BoatEye360 camera installation on a center-console.
The next day you might be flying a drone over a boat, editing a Reel, generating an AI scene, creating an ad or jumping on a trend before everyone else does.
YOU SHOULD BE REALLY GOOD AT VIDEO EDITINGWe're looking for someone who can make content look professional without making it boring.
You should understand things like:
- Fast-paced editing
- Hooks in the first 1–3 seconds
- Captions and motion graphics
- Music and sound effects
- Color correction
- Storytelling
- Retention
- Pattern interrupts
- Trending formats
- Vertical video
- 9:16 social content
- Paid social ads
- Organic social content
- Thumbnail and creative concepts
- Turning long footage into multiple short clips
You should understand the difference between a video that looks cool and a video people actually watch until the end.
AI SHOULD ALREADY BE PART OF YOUR TOOLBOXWe're especially interested in someone who understands modern AI creative tools.
That could include:
- AI-generated video
- AI-generated images
- Generative fill
- AI voiceovers
- AI-assisted editing
- AI animation
- AI backgrounds and effects
- Creative ideation with AI
- Quickly creating multiple ad variations
You don't need to know every AI platform on Earth.
But you should be the type of person who sees a new creative AI tool and immediately thinks:
"How can I use this to make something awesome?"
YOU NEED TO BE COMFORTABLE WITH A DRONEYou should know how to confidently fly a drone and capture smooth, professional footage of:
- Boats underway
- Marina environments
- Product installations
- On-water testing
- Boat shows
- Lifestyle content
- Promotional videos
Knowing how to plan shots and make drone footage actually tell a story is a big plus.
THIS IS NOT A SIT-BEHIND-A-DESK-ALL-DAY JOBThis is a small, fast-moving company.
While content will be your primary responsibility, everyone helps when something needs to get done.
You may occasionally help with other day-to-day tasks around the office, warehouse, products, events or company operations.
We're looking for someone with the attitude of:
"What needs to get done?"
Not:
"That's not my job."
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FORYou'll probably love this job if you:
- Live on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and TikTok
- Understand why some videos get 500 views and others get 5 million
- Know what makes people stop scrolling
- Follow social media trends and algorithm changes
- Are obsessed with making better content
- Can shoot AND edit
- Can fly a drone confidently
- Understand AI-generated content
- Can work independently
- Move fast without needing constant direction
- Aren't afraid to experiment
- Have strong attention to detail
- Can take an idea and turn it into finished content
- Understand that the goal isn't just views—the goal is growing the brand and generating sales
Marine or boating experience is awesome, but not required.
We can teach you boats.
It's much harder to teach someone creativity.
