Facility Maintenance and Launch Crew
Boat Tree Marina is seeking to hire a dynamic individual who is eager to learn and able to work in a physical fast-paced environment. Duties include but are not limited to dock and facility maintenance, tractor operation, and vessel operations.

ABOUT US
Boat Tree Marina is a family owned and operated marina on the St. John's River in the Port of Sanford and located at 4370 Carraway Place, Sanford, FL 32771 We offer work in a casual atmosphere right on the river basin. We are looking to fill both a full time position.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Helping to keep the marina looking good.

• Cutting grass, keeping docks and parking lot clean.
• Checking on the restrooms throughout the day to ensure that they are tidy and stocked with supplies.
• Doing repairs around the marina such as dock repair, tightening or replacing dock cleats.
• Repairs and maintenance to various facilities on the marina grounds.

Working with the Launch crew..

• Launching and pulling boats, handling dock lines, helping tow boats into the lift or into slips.
• Assisting with operating boats and tractors as necessary.
• Assist in maintaining boat rentals.
• Helping guests with docking and securing the boat when they approach the docks.

THE SKILLS YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

• Physical: Ability to move quickly and easily.
• Adaptability: A “whatever it takes” attitude with a willingness to take initiative.
• Comfortable with operating boats, tractors and lawn equipment.
• People: Demonstrate a friendly, outgoing, and respectful personality with customers.
• Able and willing to get boater safety license and livery license.

Interest in boating and any marine service industry experience is an asset.
