Success Looks Like:
· Leading your crew to complete high-quality work safely, on time, and on budget
· Maintaining a productive and motivated team with clear direction and communication
· Proactively identifying and solving problems to keep the job moving smoothly
· Keeping the job site organized, safe, and compliant with all regulations
· Acting as a reliable point of contact between the crew and supervisors or clients
· Setting the tone for professionalism, accountability, and craftsmanship every day
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily site operations and supervise 2–4 crew members
- Layout and build full dock or seawall systems from plans
- Operate small equipment (mini-excavators, skid steers, jetting equipment)
- Handle on-site problem solving and client communication
- Ensure safety, quality, and efficiency on every job
- Keep job site clean
- Keep company truck clean inside and out
- Ensure materials needed for the job are onsite
- Problem solve issues that arise on the job. Consult the foreman if needed.
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of marine construction experience
- Proven leadership and communication skills
- Strong understanding of marine permits, tides, and waterfront logistics
- Valid driver's license
Notes: 3 years experience, often leads small crews or manages small projects independently.
