We are currently looking for a Assoc. Field Tech / Field Tech / Sr Field Tech for our Ringgold, LA office.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
This purpose of this position is to carry out daily operations & maintenance tasks associated with pipeline, compressor station compliance and maintenance of Gulf South at the Bistineau Storage Field and Compressor station as needed. This position will be responsible for environmental health & safety and reliability for natural gas transmission through the pipeline system. Some specific duties will consist of compressor maintenance, reading rectifiers, valve inspection and maintenance, tank gauging, pipeline locating, pipeline patrolling, one-calls, preventive pipeline maintenance, valve site, well inspections, and right of way maintenance. Technician will be assisting with construction and repairs of pipelines and associated facilities if needed. Successful candidate will be required to live within 30 miles of the Bistineau Compressor station near Ringgold, LA in order to respond to call outs / emergency situations.

PREFERRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:
- 5 years experience in natural gas industry
- Technical degree (E&I, Mechanical)
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
- Highschool Diploma or GED
PREFERRED EDUCATION:
- Technical College or Trade School
