Boardwalk Bar & Arcade is hiring bartenders and servers. Boardwalk Bar & Arcade brings a vibrant and easygoing drinking, dining, and entertainment experience to the Wharf. We are looking for enthusiastic bartenders to provide an excellent guest drinking experience. We would love to add you to our team. Compensation includes hourly and tips.
START DATE: LATE FEBRUARY / EARLY MARCH

Responsibilities
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Skills
- Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Computer literacy
- Knowledge of a second language is a plus
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
Compensation: We pay our tipped hourly employees $10/HR plus tips in accordance with DC law. With tips our employees average in the $20-$30/HR range. With the right staff we only see this increasing!
