What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician l/ll (Boardman, OR) position at Boardman Foods Inc?
JOB SUMMARY:
• Maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, and piping systems. Utilize industry Best
Practices to perform maintenance activities including corrective maintenance (CM), preventative
maintenance (PM) and predictive maintenance (PdM) for various industrial systems including but not
limited to plant utilities, ammonia refrigeration, HVAC, steam, water, gas, wastewater, compressed air, and
building systems.
• Able to troubleshoot and repair pumps, valves, hydraulic systems, steam system, air compressor system,
optical sorters, process equipment that utilize PLCs, VFDs, and sensors, and electrical components including
small motors (below 5HP), control panels, and gearboxes.
• Able to use shop equipment such as drill press, brake, plasma cutter, pipe threader, power tools, etc
• Must be able to safely apply knowledge and troubleshooting skills to all assigned facility systems. Supports
all programs and policies that ensure that product is of the highest quality, meets specifications while
championing Food Safety and Good Manufacturing Programs
