Overview:
The Multivac Operator is responsible for all Production related duties for setting up the roll stock tools and monitoring performance to maximize production efficiency and throughput.
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Installing/changing rolls of film (forming and non-forming)
- Monitoring and correcting film tracking
- Performing tooling changeovers
- Responding to leakers, working with Maintenance to identify root cause and appropriate corrective action
- Performs daily film inventory
- Performing film changeovers
- Monitoring meat block accuracy
- Monitors conveyor speeds to match tool speed
- Works with department Leads and Supervisor to coordinate changeovers and staffing rotation to minimize impacts
- Communicate well with other team members.
- Assist other departments as assigned by Supervisor/Lead/Manager.
- Must follow company’s GMP’s, SOP’s, Plant Rules and Policies.
- Strives to satisfy the requirements of internal and external customers.
- Responsible for keeping work area clean.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
- Must have no write up in the previous 12 months
- Must be in current position at least 6 months
- Must have less than 7 points
