The Assistant Project Manager I (APM-I) supports project planning and execution by coordinating tasks, communicating with teams, and tracking progress. This role exercises independent judgment with guidance from mentors and contributes to both short- and long-term planning. The APM-I also helps monitor safety and quality on assigned projects.

- Assist with daily coordination of project activities and tasks.
- Help implement and monitor project safety and quality standards.
- Participate in field visits and site observations.
- Support estimating activities by gathering information and assisting with scope reviews.
- Communicate effectively with project teams, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Use critical thinking and problem-solving to support project goals.
- Maintain consistent attendance and contribute to team meetings and discussions.
- Retain and apply relevant project information to support decision-making.
- Support communication and coordination with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials, compliance with project specs, and resolution of field issues.
- Assist with organizing, maintaining, and distributing project documentation including RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and change orders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of relevant project support or coordination experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project-related software.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
- Willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
- Comfortable using technology for reporting, communication, and documentation (e.g., Microsoft Office, Procore, or similar platforms).
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
