- Supervise the day-to-day activities of a machining team to ensure smooth throughput.
- Train and mentor new employees, reinforcing standards and continuous improvement.
- Monitor quality and processes to meet internal specifications and customer expectations.
- Build schedules, assign work, and adjust priorities to meet deadlines.
- Host regular team meetings to communicate objectives, updates, and feedback.
- Enforce safety guidelines and drive a proactive safety culture.
- Partner with management to identify process enhancements and implement them.
- Track production metrics and document team performance accurately.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certifications are beneficial.
- Background in a manufacturing or production environment with leadership responsibilities.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and build accountable teams.
- Clear communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
- Effective decision-maker under pressure with solid problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and practical application on the floor.
- Comfortable with computers and production-related software tools.
- Available for flexible hours and overtime when needed.
