We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Tax Compliance Quality Assurance (TCQA)to join our Corporate Tax team. This role is in Pittsburgh, PA.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Product Development & Maintenance:
- Lead product development for U.S. Tax Form W-8/W-9 Documentation Tool.
- Draft business requirements, functional documents, and technical user stories.
- Work closely with team members to develop test plans and create detailed test cases.
- Assist with User Acceptance Testing and defect management.
- Develop user manuals/documentation and provide training to stakeholders using the U.S. Tax Form W-8/W-9 Documentation Tool.
- Assist with the onboarding and user provisioning of new clients to the U.S. Tax Form W-8/W-9 Documentation Tool.
- Conduct independent reviews of business processes, data quality issues, and propose process improvements.
- Assist with data review and clean up exercises.
- Project Management:
- Lead periodic meetings with stakeholders and assist with updating monthly decks which includes timelines, project updates, accomplishments risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders including Corporate Tax, Tax Operations, Technology, Relationship Managers to understand and document current and future state of tax functions/processes, and any BAU challenges.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies including Agile and Waterfall.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Experience leading requirement gathering sessions, taking meeting notes and documenting any new requirements from those sessions.
- Strong analytical skills to research data, inform business and operations, and resolve data feed issues to improve product quality and performance
- Creating project plans, process flows, and leading meetings and discussions with different stakeholders and lines of business
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate business and technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- 5 to 7 years of relevant experience within financial services
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or Prince2 certification
- Tax Information Reporting and Withholding (e.g., 1446f, FATCA, NRA, BUW, 8966 Reporting)
- IRS Tax forms, due diligence, and various tax onboarding, withholding reporting requirements.
