We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Program and Project Management I to join our Archer team. This role is located in New York City.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
Lead onboarding and implementation of new clients
Clearly articulate client business drivers, current state, and service requirements leading to ideal future state
Create project scope, charter, business requirements, workflows, and other critical artifacts
Include project planning, design, and implementing tactical and strategic initiatives
Develop Archer platform expertise, both technical and process workflows
Foster relationships with clients, internal stakeholders and SMEs
Lead routine meetings/calls providing project status updates and milestones with all relevant parties
Ability to hold internal and external stakeholders accountable for deliverables and progress.
Track projects, tasks, and manage deliverables
Manage expectations and discussions with various levels of the organization
Develop detailed implementation plans inclusive of internal and external needs
Contribute to or create weekly project status reports to internal stakeholders
Ability to inquire, recommend and implement client requirements within the project timeline as approved by internal project head
Expected travel minimal, dependent upon client needs
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
BA / BS in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Economics or related field OR the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Advanced/graduate degree preferred.
5 years of project management experience in the buy-side investment management industry preferred
Track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
PMP designation preferred
Strong dedication to quality client service
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills (internal as well as client facing)
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines
Ability to articulate Archer’s capabilities and industry best practices as well as make business process improvement recommendations
Team player, who can also successfully operate independently
Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Visio or comparable tool
Experience using project management software, e.g., Asana
Self-starter, self-finisher
Business process improvement & construction of efficient processes
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with acute attention to detail and technical aptitude
Experience working under tight timelines, producing accurate results, and mitigating risks

The base salary for this position is expected to be between $81,000 and $179,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs. This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
