Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is only part of the total rewards package, which may include eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award. Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, eligible employees may enroll in a 401(k) plan as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee’s eligible dependents. Eligible employees also may receive other benefits (including various paid time off benefits, such as vacation and sick time), dependent on the position offered. - POSITION SUMMARY:** The Vice President of Security Investigations plays a critical role in safeguarding BNY's assets, employees, and clients through comprehensive security investigations. As an Individual Contributor within the Corporate Security function, this position focuses on identifying, analyzing, and mitigating security threats and incidents. The role supports BNY's strategic pillars of risk management and operational excellence while adhering to the principles of integrity and accountability. The Vice President is expected to leverage their expertise to enhance security protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, thereby contributing to a secure and resilient organizational environment. **PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:** - Conduct thorough security investigations by applying advanced analytical skills and methodologies to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities. - Develop and implement effective security strategies and protocols in collaboration with cross-functional teams to mitigate risks and enhance organizational security. - Prepare detailed investigative reports and present findings to senior management, ensuring clear communication of complex security issues. - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and inform security practices. - Collaborate with law enforcement and external agencies as necessary to support investigations and reinforce security measures. - Act as a subject matter expert within the Security Investigations family, providing guidance and training to junior team members and stakeholders. **EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:** - Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience required. **EXPERIENCE:** - Typically 5-10 years of experience **SKILLS:** - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively conduct and manage security investigations. - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences. - In-depth knowledge of security protocols, regulatory standards, and best practices in corporate security.
