Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is only part of the total rewards package, which may include eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award. Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, eligible employees may enroll in a 401(k) plan as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee’s eligible dependents. Eligible employees also may receive other benefits (including various paid time off benefits, such as vacation and sick time), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, the employee will be in an “at will” position and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payments or compensation programs) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
- POSITION SUMMARY:** The Vice President, Corporate Actions Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing the Corporate Actions & Tax operations at BNY. This management position is integral to ensuring the seamless execution of corporate actions, aligning with BNY's strategic pillars of operational excellence and client focus. By fostering a culture of collaboration and responsibility, this role supports BNY's principles, promoting a client-centric approach and operational integrity. The Vice President will lead a team dedicated to maintaining high standards and achieving operational efficiency within the Corporate Actions & Tax function. **PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:** - Lead and manage the Corporate Actions team by demonstrating expertise in corporate actions processes and ensuring timely and accurate execution of all related activities. - Develop and implement strategies that enhance operational efficiency and compliance, supporting BNY's commitment to excellence. - Collaborate across departments to ensure cohesive and integrated service delivery, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability. - Analyze and interpret data to drive informed decision-making, contributing to process improvements and strategic initiatives. - Serve as a key point of contact for stakeholders, maintaining strong relationships and addressing any issues with professionalism and expertise. - Mentor and develop team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional growth. **EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:** - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience required. - Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business. **EXPERIENCE:** - Typically 4-7 years of experience. - 0-1 years of management experience preferred. **SKILLS:** - Strong leadership and team management skills. - Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities. - Proficient communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management.
