Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is only part of the total rewards package, which may include eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award. Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, eligible employees may enroll in a 401(k) plan as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee’s eligible dependents. Eligible employees also may receive other benefits (including various paid time off benefits, such as vacation and sick time), dependent on the position offered. We're seeking a future team member for the role of Specialistt to join our Middle Office Trade Support. This role is located in Pittsburgh, US.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Provide middle office trade support services for investment management clients
- Execute trade processing, including taking in client files and instructing trades to the market
- Facilitate trade settlement by working with brokers and custodians to ensure trades settle and resolving any exceptions
- Manage reference and static data to support accurate and timely processing
- Create and disseminate various client reports in line with service level expectations
- Escalate potential and actual errors or issues and drive timely resolution
- Support onboarding of new clients and facilitate updates to existing client books of work
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; High school/secondary school or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- 1–2 years of total work experience preferred; experience in accounting support or the mutual fund industry preferred
- Strong client service orientation, exceptional attention to detail, and excellent communication skills
- Ability to follow complex procedures and demonstrate risk mitigation techniques across daily deliverables
- Proven capability to work independently on daily tasks while collaborating effectively within a team to meet holistic client needs
- Comfort interfacing with internal BNY teams and external brokers, custodians, and other stakeholders to ensure delivery of client objectives
- No prior financial industry experience required; training will be provided
