The Data Platform/AI Hub organization plays a critical role in advancing BNY’s enterprise data and AI capabilities. The team focuses on delivering scalable, well-governed data and AI solutions that support business decision-making, improve operational efficiency, and enable innovation across the firm. This includes building modern platforms, enabling advanced analytics, and ensuring alignment with regulatory, risk, and control expectations.

BNY is seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, AI & Data Product Owner to join our AI Hub / Data Platform. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA.
The Data Platform/AI Hub organization plays a critical role in advancing BNY’s enterprise data and AI capabilities. The team focuses on delivering scalable, well-governed data and AI solutions that support business decision-making, improve operational efficiency, and enable innovation across the firm. This includes building modern platforms, enabling advanced analytics, and ensuring alignment with regulatory, risk, and control expectations.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Work closely with the AI and Data Discipline Lead to help define and reinforce clear roles and responsibilities for associates across the discipline, supporting a strong operating model and greater organizational clarity
- Support the ongoing development of the AI and Data discipline by driving consistent internal communications, including regular newsletters and other content that strengthen awareness, engagement, and alignment across teams
- Support the execution of AI and data product strategy, translating enterprise priorities into clear roadmaps, deliverables, and actionable plans
- Partner with senior leaders across Technology, Data, Finance, Risk, and business teams to align priorities, shape strategic direction, and support execution across a complex, matrixed environment
- Ensure training and enablement materials for the discipline are current, relevant, and regularly updated to reflect evolving priorities, capabilities, and ways of working
- Provide clear, executive-level transparency into progress, risks, dependencies, and value realization, enabling informed decision-making and timely escalation of issues
- 10 years of experience in driving strategic initiatives, operating rhythms, or business execution within data, AI, technology, or related domains, preferably in financial services or a regulated environment
- Strong ability to translate complex concepts into clear, actionable communications, including experience preparing materials for senior leadership and driving alignment across stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience supporting product, platform, or program delivery, including roadmap planning, prioritization, and coordination across cross-functional teams
- Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives and drive outcomes in a highly matrixed organization
- Experience developing metrics, reporting, and performance tracking, with the ability to synthesize insights and support decision-making
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across Technology, Data, Product, Risk, and business teams
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with strong execution discipline, with attention to detail and follow-through
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior leadership
- Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, technology, or related discipline; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus
