This 8-month contract role is designed for experienced professionals who can take full ownership of fund deliverables, oversee NAV processes, and act as a key point of coordination across onshore and offshore teams. The role operates in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment and requires strong technical expertise, leadership, and the ability to ensure accuracy across complex fund structures.

Key Responsibilities:
- Fund Ownership: Take full responsibility for a portfolio of assigned funds, overseeing all accounting activities from trial balance through final reporting
- NAV Oversight & Review: Lead the preparation and review of Net Asset Value calculations, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to client expectations
- Reconciliation Governance: Oversee cash and custody reconciliations performed by offshore teams, validate outputs, and resolve escalated discrepancies
- Financial Reporting: Review and approve supporting schedules, expense allocations (including admin fees), and financial reporting packages
- Team Leadership & Review: Act as a senior resource for the team by reviewing junior and mid-level work, providing guidance, and ensuring overall quality of deliverables
- Process Execution & Improvement: Operate within established workflows while identifying gaps, improving efficiencies, and strengthening controls
- Deadline Management: Drive deliverables under tight client timelines, ensuring all outputs are completed with urgency and precision
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (required)
- 5 years of fund accounting or related financial services experience
- Strong expertise in trial balances, reconciliations, debits/credits, and full-cycle fund accounting
- Deep understanding of NAV calculations and financial reporting processes
- Proven experience reviewing work and leading deliverables in a team environment
- Experience overseeing NAV processes and fund performance calculations
- Background in private equity or credit funds
- Prior experience mentoring team members or acting in a lead capacity
- Exposure to process improvement or operational efficiency initiatives
