Job Summary:
We are seeking a Client Services Analyst to support loan and CLO (Collateralized Loan Obligation) portfolios within a client-facing operations environment. This role focuses on managing the day-to-day operational health of assigned client accounts, including trade and cash oversight, reporting, and client interaction.
This role is hybrid in either Pittsburgh, PA (8–5pm ET) or Houston, TX (8:30–5pm ET)
Key Responsibilities:
• Client & Account Management: Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned client accounts, maintaining strong relationships with portfolio managers and internal partners
• Transaction Oversight: Monitor and manage cash and trade activity across loan, bond, and equity positions, ensuring timely and accurate execution
• Portfolio Oversight: Oversee 3–7 client accounts (including complex portfolios), ensuring operational health and service delivery standards are met
• Reporting & Deliverables: Own monthly and quarterly reporting cycles, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery within 7–8 business day deadlines
• Reconciliation & Issue Resolution: Perform reconciliations and investigate discrepancies across trades, cash, and positions; resolve issues or escalate as needed
• Client Communication: Respond to client inquiries via phone and email, providing updates, resolving issues, and supporting ongoing portfolio needs
• Collaboration: Partner with internal teams including accounting, consultants, and relationship managers to support payment cycles and operational processes
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency across client servicing activities
Qualifications:
• 2–5 years of experience in financial services, client operations, or client-facing roles
• Strong understanding of financial instruments including loans, bonds, and equities
• Experience with reconciliation and transaction processing
• Excellent communication skills with ability to manage client relationships
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
• Ability to work in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
• Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
• Bachelor’s degree required
Preferred Experience:
• Experience in Corporate Trust, CLOs, or loan portfolio servicing
• Exposure to syndicated loans, bilateral loans, or real estate loan products
• Experience reviewing deal documentation and understanding risk/control frameworks
• Familiarity working with portfolio managers or front-office stakeholders
