Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Strategic Sourcing Manager to support Technology and FinTech sourcing within a leading global financial services organization. This role will partner closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to evaluate technology solutions, analyze pricing, lead commercial negotiations, and support agreements through contracting and vendor onboarding.
The ideal candidate brings 6–10 years of sourcing, vendor management, and commercial negotiation experience within a Technology or FinTech environment. The team supports a broad technology portfolio, including software and subscriptions, Market Data, hardware, FinTech platforms, and emerging technologies.
This position is available in New York City, Pittsburgh, PA, or Lake Mary, FL, with an expectation of four days onsite per week.
Key Responsibilities:
Commercial Negotiations: Lead supplier negotiations focused on pricing, commercial terms, service agreements, order forms, SOWs, and overall value.
Technology Sourcing: Support sourcing initiatives across Technology and FinTech categories, including software, subscriptions, Market Data, hardware, and emerging technologies.
Vendor Analysis: Evaluate suppliers, pricing structures, capabilities, and commercial terms to provide stakeholders with clear recommendations.
Stakeholder Management: Partner with business and technology leaders to understand requirements, evaluate available solutions, and guide sourcing decisions.
Contracting & Onboarding: Help move selected suppliers through contracting and onboarding while partnering with Legal and other internal teams when needed.
Market Analysis: Support RFPs/RFIs, pricing assessments, total-cost modeling, and broader supply market analysis.
Executive Communication: Develop clear, data-driven recommendations and presentations for senior leadership.
Qualifications:
6–10 years of experience in Technology/FinTech sourcing, vendor management, procurement, or commercial negotiations
Demonstrated experience personally leading supplier and contract negotiations
Strong understanding of pricing, commercial terms, and contract structures
Proven stakeholder management and communication skills
Ability to confidently lead meetings with internal stakeholders and external vendors
Strong analytical and PowerPoint/presentation skills
Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field
Preferred Experience:
Financial services or banking industry experience
Market Data sourcing, including Bloomberg, index, ratings, or exchange data
Experience with Ivalua, Sirion, or similar procurement/contract lifecycle platforms
Vendor onboarding and due diligence experience
Background working with FinTech, technology vendors, resellers, or emerging technology providers
Master’s degree
