We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, RFP/DDQ Writer/Deal Management, to join our Asset Servicing Deal Management team. This role is located in Boston, MA. or New York City, NY.
Team Overview
In this role, the resource supports global Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for BNY Asset Servicing clients, and global Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs)
The Asset Servicing Deal Management team is responsible for managing and delivering timely, accurate, and high‑quality responses to a broad range of client and prospect information requests. These include DDQs, RFPs, Requests for Information (RFIs), industry surveys, and other business information requests received from clients, prospects, consultants, and industry bodies.
Deal Managers work in close partnership with the sales organization, relationship managers, client service teams, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to project‑manage and finalise questionnaire responses. Through this collaborative approach, the team ensures the delivery of clear, consistent, and compelling responses that provide assurance on BNY’s products and services, competitive strengths, business controls, information security practices, processes, and procedures.
Writers are responsible for the end‑to‑end documentation lifecycle, including initiation, planning, drafting, coordination with stakeholders, quality control, and closure through final review and sign‑off.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
Managing end-to-end delivery of Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and other client questionnaires for global Asset Servicing clients.
Drafting high‑quality first versions of questionnaire responses, supported by research and analysis.
Owning the overall completion of submissions, including coordination of inputs, reviews, approvals, and final sign-off.
Effectively managing stakeholders, timelines, and dependencies, working closely with internal business units and subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather and validate required information.
Coordinating and supporting legal, compliance, and business reviews for responses, anticipating regulatory or policy considerations and partnering with senior stakeholders to address them.
Driving process improvement and knowledge management, including contributing to the development and enhancement of Deal Management processes and proposal library content.
Engaging directly with clients, business development, or relationship management teams, as needed, to clarify requirements and ensure alignment.
Contributing to the achievement of team and business objectives through collaboration, quality execution, and continuous improvement.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
A Master’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience in business management or a related field.
8 years of professional experience preferred, with experience in bid management and/or proposal development preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and confidently.
Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
A highly collaborative mindset, capable of working effectively across diverse stakeholder groups, including SMEs, senior leaders, and executives, to shape compelling content and messaging.
A creative and analytical approach, with the ability to synthesize information from multiple sources into clear, concise, and value‑adding client responses.
A self‑starter with strong organizational and time‑management skills, demonstrating initiative, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous learning in Asset Servicing and the broader franchise.
Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to producing accurate, polished, and high‑quality deliverables that meet all client and regulatory requirements.
An enthusiastic, confident, and decisive professional with strong interpersonal and planning skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Adobe, SharePoint)
A high degree of independence and accountability, with the ability to make fact‑based decisions, enforce standards and timelines, and operate effectively as part of a team.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $69,000 and $183,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
