 We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Investment Strategist to join the Portfolio Group Strategy team at BNY Investments. This role is located in New York City, NY, or Boston, MA.

The Portfolio Strategy Group team partners with the Distribution team, Product, Marketing, and our Investment Firms to create and ensure the delivery of accurate, consistent, compelling, and relevant investment strategy communications, concepts and content to intermediary & institutional clients in the US. Coverage and responsibilities range across asset classes (Equity, Fixed Income, Multi-Asset, and Alternatives), investment vehicles (mutual funds, mandates, private/illiquid), and macro and micro market and investing thematics.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

• Creation and delivery of investment strategy content and delivery portfolio construction analysis to clients.  This includes building and delivering presentations on current industry topics, distribution of model portfolios, and offering in depth and actionable portfolio analysis to clients.
• Research, write, edit, and publish materials for the sales team, tying all investment messaging to investment insights that address client needs. 
• Working with partners in Marketing and Compliance to produce relevant, differentiated content that better positions our investment capabilities with our clients. Solicit and incorporate feedback from a large group of stakeholders across the firm to refine product stories and support accessibility of sales materials.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

• Degree required or equivalent
• CFA candidate preferred
• 3-5 year’s experience in asset management
• Understanding of the capital markets and asset management products across fixed income, equity, hedge funds, private equity, and/or real assets.
• Must be a self-starter with demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize multiple projects and have the willingness to take on additional responsibility.
• Outstanding copywriting and editorial skills; must be able to take complex concepts and synthesize concisely.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including a strong ability to develop relationships and influence outcomes in large, globally complex matrix organizations.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $83,000 and $132,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs. 
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Salary : $83,000 - $132,000
