We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Engagement Support Manager, Client Service join our Treasury Services Client Services team. BNY adheres to an industry standard enterprise sourcing vendor due diligence and governance framework as outlined via BNY policy. This role can be located in Pittsburgh, PA or New York, NY
The Engagement Support Manager has a pivotal role within this process and will you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
· Establish an appropriate interaction framework between Sales, Product, and Third-Part Governance (TPG)
· Collaboration with Relationship Managers and third-party engagement team
· Document and address issues through remediation with internal and external stakeholders
· Serve as a point of escalation for unresponsive third parties during various phases such as Risk Assessment, Due Diligence, Contracting, and Ongoing Monitoring.
· Review to ensure budget approval and cost center information is solidified before pre-planning process
· Ensure all key data elements are provided during the pre-planning process.
· Obtain a robust description of the engagement, including data type, data flow, and storage mechanisms.
· Initiate and manage engagements through the planning, risk profiling, and governance processes.
· Obtain necessary approvals for engagements rated as critical
· Follow up with relevant personnel to move engagements through various phases.
· Work with privacy stewards and champions to complete necessary privacy questionnaires.
· Create third-party profiles and obtain required documentation.
· Ensure timely provision of due diligence information by third parties.
· Collaborate on the contract process, obtaining approvals and resolving contract terms.
· Determine if third-party arrangements require regulatory notification.
· Provide governance materials based on the risk rating of the engagement
· Cultivating internal and external working relationships with partners
· Establishing appropriate standards inclusive of policies, procedures, and a governance framework for client vendor engagement
· Ensuring contractual obligations are being met
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
· Bachelors degree and/or the equivalent of experience (Banking/Financial/Vendor and/or Project Management) are required
· Understanding of Cyber Risk composition
· 5 years of total work experience
· Self-motivated with client focus centricity and lean thought process
· Strong communication skills; written, verbal and effective listening skills
· Ability to be cross-fungible and multitask under pressure
· Able to adapt to changing environments and business needs through being resourceful

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $68,000 and $165,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
Salary : $68,000 - $165,000
