We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Sr. Site Reliability Automation Engineer to join our Technology team. This role is located in [CITY]
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Design and implement automation platforms supporting self-healing and auto-remediation frameworks.
- Develop backend services and automation tools primarily in Python and Go.
- Build and maintain monitoring using Monitoring-as-a-Code practices.
- Manage containerized workloads using Kubernetes and Docker.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred. 8-10 years of related experience required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
- 8 years of software engineering experience, including DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering roles.
- Strong programming experience in Python or Go.
- Deep understanding of Linux systems and distributed systems architecture.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, including MS Azure and Private Cloud.
- Experience defining and maintaining SLOs and error budgets.
- Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Strong knowledge of databases and messaging systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, RabbitMQ, SQS).
- Experience managing and mentoring engineering teams.
