What are the responsibilities and job description for the Specialist, OPS Control II position at BNY External Career Site?
We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Specialist, Ops Control II to join our Wealth Reconciliations team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Complete assigned reconciliations accurately and within established deadlines
- Review, analyze, and resolve reconciliation breaks and exceptions in a timely manner
- Partner with junior team members to support completion of assigned reconciliations and provide day-to-day guidance
- Assist in training and mentoring junior employees on reconciliation processes, controls, and best practices
- Prepare escalation reports for risk management, highlighting key issues, trends, and unresolved items
- Communicate reconciliation issues, control gaps, and potential risks to management in a clear and timely manner
- Support the team in maintaining strong operational controls and adherence to established procedures
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required.
- 0-3 years of total work experience preferred.
- Related internship experience preferred.
- No direct reports.
- Contributes to the achievement of team objectives.
- Works on projects of limited size and levels of complexity.
