We’re seeking a future team member for the role of MD, Site Reliability Engineer Manager to join our CIO Engineering team. This role is located in Lake Mary, FL.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Responsible for the development of the strategic direction of the Site Reliability Engineering function to drive resilience and stability through engineering principles and operational discipline
- Understand the organization’s technical ecosystem to recognize systemic interrelationships while performing gap identification
- Scale systems sustainably through mechanisms like automation and evolves systems by pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocity.
- Provide leadership direction in future improvement of software delivery processes and operations, e.g., cloud enablement
- Relay incident details expeditiously, concisely, and accurately
- Lead recruitment strategy and manages and develops teams to maximize their collective contributions. Motivates lower level managers to maximize their contributions and encourage professional growth.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred. 10-12 years of related experience required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
