Job Summary
Provide multi-disciplined security support for Arnold Engineering & Development Complex (AEDC) test programs at all classification levels. Candidates must be a self-driven and results-oriented capable of effectively articulating and presenting comprehensive security-based recommendations in support of test and technology projects.
Job Duties:
Provide security guidance, policy development, and oversight for all aspects of test projects, analysis projects, and technology projects. Tasks may include, but are not limited to:
- Provide pre-test planning support.
- Create detailed test security plans.
- Train project personnel on security requirements
- Establish security protocols in work areas required for test projects.
- Validate entry authorization lists.
- Perform pre-test and post-test work area sanitizations.
- Create Foreign National Visitor Control plans as required.
- Conduct personnel entry and exit inspections in secured area.
- Perform classification reviews of correspondence.
- Ensure all materials are properly marked.
- Process inbound and outbound classified test articles and documentation
- Perform destruction of classified materials
- Process documents and magnetic media for accountability
- It is a condition of employment to wear company issued PPE (personal protective equipment) in accordance with supervisory direction and company policy.
- Audit security processes to ensure policy compliance and quality standards
- Performs other duties as assigned by FSO and/or Security Manager
Basic Qualifications:
- Seven years of progressive and relevant security or administrative experience or any equivalent combination of education and progressive and relevant experience.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance and the AEDC local area network.
- Current U. S. Citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active security clearance
- Formal training in security as defined by the National Industrial Security Operating Program (NISPOM) such as certification as Industrial Security Professional (ISP) or Security Professional Educational Development (SPED) certification, FSO certification.
- Bachelor’s Degree
