Duties
Assist with landscape installation projects, including planting trees, shrubs, and flowers while ensuring proper soil preparation and placement. Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as mowing, trimming, edging, and pruning to maintain healthy lawns and gardens. Support landscape maintenance activities like irrigation system installation and repair, snow plowing during winter months, and general site cleanup. Utilize equipment such as excavators and other construction machinery to assist with hardscape projects like patios, walkways, and retaining walls. Perform routine lawn care duties including mowing, aeration, fertilization, and weed control to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and healthy. Engage in tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and planting to promote safety and aesthetic appeal. Help with seasonal tasks like gardening preparation in spring or snow removal in winter to ensure year-round landscape excellence.
Experience
Previous experience in landscaping or outdoor maintenance is preferred but not required; we value motivated individuals eager to learn. Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with landscaping equipment such as power tools, hand tools, or irrigation systems is advantageous. Experience with horticulture practices including plant care, tree trimming, or lawn care will help you excel in this role. Knowledge of construction processes related to hardscape installation or landscape architecture is a plus. Ability to operate machinery such as excavators or snow plows demonstrates versatility and technical skill. Strong work ethic with a focus on safety procedures when handling tools and equipment is essential for success. Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
