Employment Specialist Job Description
The Employment Specialist provides support and assistance to individuals with disabilities that will enable the individual to develop skills and enhance their ability to secure employment.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Conduct Situational Assessment
· Provide job development services by helping consumers in obtaining employment, including support with resume writing, job application, interview preparation, and follow-up with employers.
· Support with job placement and training by providing one-to-one support to assist with learning the job.
· Provide Follow-Along services by ongoing contact on the post-job placement to assess job performance, employer satisfaction, and levels of training and/or support needed.
· Provide support to students with disabilities (Pre-Employment Transition Services) with employment services, and/or help them in learning skills for employment.
· This job requires driving to meet clients and employers.
Education:
BA/BS degree in education, vocational rehabilitation, social work, business, or related field. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Pay: $25-$29 Per Hour
