Qualifications
- Professional Engineering (PE) license in Electrical Engineering, with ability to practice in Texas or obtain reciprocity.
- Strong electrical design and analysis skills, including power distribution, lighting, grounding, and protective device coordination.
- Proficiency with CAD and engineering tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, power system modeling software such as ETAP or SKM).
- Experience with applicable codes and standards (e.g., NEC, NFPA, IEEE) and familiarity with industry best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and produce accurate, high-quality deliverables.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with clients, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience in consulting or technology infrastructure environments is beneficial; prior work with ISO-certified or highly regulated organizations is a plus.
- Willingness to perform occasional on-site field work, inspections, and coordination meetings in and around Houston, TX.
