BMW of Darien is looking to hire a Service BDC Representative to join our service department call center at our location in Darien, CT! For over 50 years, we have been dedicated to the highest-quality service and support for our customer through a luxury car buying and servicing experience.
Summary:
We are looking for individuals with previous customer service/call center experience who are capable of learning and speaking to the services we provide and providing high-quality interactions with our customers who contact us.
Automotive BDC Representative Responsibilities:
- Schedule incoming service appointments and place outbound calls for various automotive related services, recalls and marketing campaigns
- Contact customers who have recently declined service repairs
- Communicating with customers to identify automotive needs
- Confirm appointments and re-schedule missed appointments
- Contact customer lists based on current marketing incentives.
- Be the first point of contact for customers to communicate with about our shop and the services offered
- Answer questions about services offered and provide helpful information about our location
- Ask probing questions and determine customer needs in order to match their expectations and identify upsell opportunities
- Educate customers on service we provide, including direct comparisons and specific recommendations based on information they provided
- Transfer customers to appropriate departments for escalations or more complex requests
- Stay up to date on schedule and service department availability
- Work with management to establish career development goals and opportunities to advance
- Be Enthusiastic about our shop and help drive high-quality customer service interactions
Automotive BDC Representative Job Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Automotive BDC is required
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and able to stay knowledgeable about a variety of vehicles
- Professional demeanor and appearance
- Valid drivers license
