Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and identify their automotive parts needs with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Provide detailed product information, including specifications, compatibility, and installation guidance for luxury vehicle parts and accessories
- Manage inventory control by stocking, organizing, and tracking parts using Automotive Parts Management systems and Microsoft Office tools like Excel
- Assist customers in selecting the right parts through effective sales management techniques and negotiation skills
- Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems while handling cash and credit payments responsibly
- Collaborate with service technicians to ensure timely order fulfillment and vehicle maintenance support
- Maintain organized records of customer interactions, sales, inventory levels, and order statuses for seamless operations
- Build strong customer relationships through excellent service, follow-up communication, and personalized assistance
- Utilize mechanical troubleshooting skills to advise clients on automotive diagnostics and repair options when needed
- Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels, conducting regular audits, and placing orders to prevent shortages
Experience
- Proven dealership experience or retail sales background within the automotive industry preferred
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts, accessories, vehicle systems, and mechanical troubleshooting techniques
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software is advantageous
- Demonstrated organizational skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and Word
- Experience in inventory management, POS systems, cashiering, and retail math ensures accurate transactions and stock control
- Prior experience with automotive repair processes or dealership operations enhances your ability to serve clients effectively
