Description

• Support and learn quality management functions with the supplier quality management applications on the exterior parts commodities.
• The qualified intern/co-op should expect to contribute & improve in the following functions: OEE and value stream data collection system to be implemented at the suppliers .
• Steer and coordinate the supplier quality development for specific supplier-related issues.
• Problem solving methodology (8D) to solve recurrent quality topics with a specific supplier. Assist the Quality Specialist on critical on-going projects or upcoming projects .
• Work on specific supplier issues with regards to process problem solving measures, using problem solving tools .
• Assist on supply chain topics with regards the sub-component stock tracking and crisis management on critical component shortages .
• Special scopes on specific supplier topics as defined by the Hiring manager and the assignment supervisor .
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
  
  

The qualified intern should expect to contribute to improvements in the following functions:

• Conduct research and conceptualize new ideas.
• Support project management and coordination of plans for related projects.
• Coordinate and support focused, community-based events and initiatives.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret information to evaluate the landscape against business strategies.
• Stay abreast of best practices and recommend relevant initiatives for activities and actions.
• Provide regular input on enhancing processes and practices.
• Support the organization’s vision, strategy, priorities, and roadmap.
• Partner with stakeholders to enable successful prioritization, development, delivery, and adoption of program goals.
• Create PowerPoint slide decks for presentations and support preparation for meetings.
• Participate in project team meetings.
• Provide general administrative support.
• Schedule the use of meeting room facilities on an as-needed basis.
• Perform other administrative duties and special projects as assigned by project team members.
  
  

Qualifications

• Enrolled in college program with major in business admin, engineering, supply chain or similar preferred.
• MS office, advanced excel, PowerPoint
• Experience leading groups of people
• Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major).
• Have enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
• Good organization and project management skills.
• Good communication and presentation skills in English and preferably German.
• Analytical, solution-oriented mindset.
• Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
• Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week).
• Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
• MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT.
• Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
