Job Description:
- Work with a technical planning team to support the planning and installation of equipment and structure as required for new model integration, refurbishment, and continuous improvement projects.
- Projects will range from small upgrade and improvement projects (change management) to new model projects.
- Other tasks may include, but not limited to: design, project management, digitalization and scanning, CAD, simulations, programming, etc.
- Major: Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering
- Willingness to learn.
- Team player mindset.
- Self-driven to push projects and tasks forward.
- Good Communication skills.
- Problem Solving / Analytical skills.
- Organized and able to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
- MS Office knowledge required.
- Basic CAD knowledge (preferred 3D).
- Preferred but not mandatory: Excel macro, Sharepoint, Apex, etc.
- Support planning and installation topics.
- Manage contractors to maintain schedule.
- Technical verification of installation.
- Creation of bid documents.
- Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major).
- Have enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
- Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
- Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week).
- Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
- MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT
- Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
- THE WORK TERM DATES ARE January 11th – May 14th, 2027.
- Must be an enrolled student during all three rotations.
