18-Wheeler Maintenance Mechanic
BMT Fluids & Rentals LLC
BMT Fluids & Rentals LLC is looking for a dependable Mechanic / Maintenance Technician to perform basic maintenance and repairs on our 18-wheelers and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform basic maintenance on 18-wheelers and trucks
- Diagnose and repair lights and other minor electrical issues
- Perform small hose repairs and replacements
- Repair and replace air hoses and lines
- Perform basic tire work, including changing and repairing tires
- Inspect trucks for maintenance or safety concerns
- Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues
- Keep trucks and equipment safe and ready for operation
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- Experience working on 18-wheelers, diesel trucks, or similar heavy equipment preferred
- Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with tires, hoses, air lines, and truck lighting
- Must be dependable and able to work independently
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to safely lift, bend, climb, and work around large trucks and equipment
