BMS Pediatric Therapy Group, P.C. is a therapist owned private practice providing high quality speech and developmental therapy services to children ages 6 months through 18 years across the Chicagoland area. We partner with school districts to deliver specialized, compliant, and student-centered related services.
We are currently seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) during school year 2026-2027 for our school district partner located near Matteson, IL
Job Responsibilities
- Provide direct speech language therapy services in alignment with IEP accommodations and goals.
- Implement existing IEP goals and collect data to support progress monitoring within a condensed instructional timeframe.
- Collaborate with speech pathologists, special education teachers, and related service providers to support student access and participation.
- Complete required documentation, daily service logs, and end of session progress summaries in accordance with district timelines.
- Support students with mild to intensive communication needs in small group and classroom based settings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA accredited university required
- State of Illinois SLPA License
- Prior school based experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of IEP implementation and compliance procedures required.
Schedule
- August- June
- Monday-Friday (8:00 am-3:30 pm)
- Full- time
- Onsite in the south suburbs of Chicago.
Compensation
- Hourly rate ranges from $37.00 to $45.00 per hour
