BMS Moving & Storage is expanding its international operations and looking for an International Clearing Coordinator to join our team. This role is critical to ensuring shipments are successfully cleared and delivered, while maintaining compliance with DoD requirements and delivering a high level of service.
This is not a passive, task-based role. You will be actively managing shipments, communicating with partners, and solving issues in real time.

What You’ll Be Responsible For- Manage the clearing and delivery process for international shipments
- Offer shipments for delivery and coordinate out-of-SIT requests
- Review and process pre-move surveys, origin documents, and ocean manifests
- Maintain accurate shipment data in DPS, Utopia, and internal systems (BVS 2.0 compliance)
- Communicate daily with agents, dispatchers, brokers, and internal teams
- Identify and resolve issues related to documentation, linehaul, and consolidations
- Provide timely updates and ensure a strong customer experience
- Support reweighs, delivery documentation, and issue resolution
- Highly detail-oriented and organized
- Able to manage multiple shipments and priorities at once
- Clear and confident communicator
- Calm under pressure with strong problem-solving ability
- Takes ownership and follows through
- 1 year in logistics, transportation, or a related field preferred
- Bachelor’s degree is a plus, but not required
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Clear path for growth within international operations
