Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Pharmacy IVIG Intake position located in Diamond Bar, CA. The role involves processing and managing IVIG (Intravenous Immunoglobulin) patient prescriptions, coordinating with healthcare providers, and ensuring timely intake and verification of prescriptions. Responsibilities include communicating effectively with patients and providers, obtaining necessary authorizations, and maintaining proper documentation to support compliance and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Knowledge in Pharmacy practices and experience with Prescription processing and prior authorizations via PBM, medical authorizations.
- Familiarity with Pharmacy Technicians' tasks and responsibilities
- Strong Customer Service skills, including effective communication and problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in pharmacy-related fields are an asset
