Role Overview
The Community Manager for TikTok GO leads and manages a nationwide creator community of a couple thousand creators across the United States. This role requires a strong understanding of how influencers and KOLs think and operate, along with a solid grasp of TikTok GO program policies, to build and maintain an active, organized creator community aligned with the company’s direction and growth. Community operations are primarily based on Discord, with flexibility to expand to other platforms as needed.
Key Responsibilities
1.Discord management and operation
Operate and maintain the TikTok GO creator community on Discord, including onboarding creators into the community, guiding them on how to participate, and maintaining order and clarity within the space. Respond to creator questions in a timely manner, communicate updates, policy changes, and best practices, and relay key issues or signals back to the management team when needed.
2.TikTok community engagement and visibility
Support creator engagement on TikTok by amplifying official accounts, sharing new program know how when available, and helping keep the community active. This includes basic engagement actions such as liking creator posts to encourage participation and visibility.
3.Key creator relationship management
Maintain ongoing relationships with top tier creators within TikTok GO. Engage with these creators regularly, listen to their feedback and concerns, and provide necessary support to help them perform better and stay aligned with program goals.
4.Event and community activity support
Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of TikTok GO related online and offline events across different regions. Support communication and coordination efforts to increase community engagement and strengthen creator connection.
5.Community feedback and internal coordination
Collect feedback and insights from daily community interactions and communicate relevant findings to internal and management teams to support improvements in program operations, policies, and overall creator experience.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing and operating an online community, with the ability to maintain structure, engagement, and clear communication at scale
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with creators and internal teams
- Background or hands-on experience working with influencers or KOLs, with a solid understanding of how creators think and operate
Compensation
This role offers a base salary plus performance-based commission. The compensation structure will be determined based on experience and scope of responsibility.
