Key Responsibilities:
- Review credit structures, assess risk, and provide clear, well‑reasoned recommendations to Credit.
- Prepare concise and accurate credit correspondence that clearly reflects deal structures, key risks, mitigants, and sponsor considerations.
- Identify, analyze, and articulate sources of repayment and structural concerns.
- Monitor borrower performance and identify trends, escalating issues as appropriate.
- Conduct periodic and ad hoc credit reviews where enhanced monitoring is warranted.
- Adhere to internal credit policies to manage and minimize risk exposure.
- Assist Relationship Manager in structuring, proposing, and negotiating loan terms.
- Support execution of strategic and operational initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders .
- Build and maintain effective working relationships across the organization and with clients.
- Independently manage complex credit facilities, including specialized or non‑standard structures.
- Participate in client meetings and contribute to relationship planning by identifying potential sales opportunities.
- Maintain a strong customer service orientation and openness to performance feedback.
- Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of commercial lending or related experience.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Finance, Business, Economics or Accounting preferred.
- Knowledge of fund finance and private equity fundamentals.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to review and recommend complex credit structures.
- Ability to receive, internalize, and apply feedback with professionalism, using guidance constructively to support continuous growth and improved outcomes.
