Job description:
We are seeking a part-time experienced Optical Laser Equipment and Related Components Identify Technician to join our team. This role requires a deep understanding of optical technology and components. The specialist will work hands-on to disassemble, identify a wide variety of optical equipments and classifying surplus equipment therefore we know how to sell them with reasonable price. The ideal candidate possesses optical technical knowledge, stay updated on trends and advancements in vacuum technology to apply best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Disassemble, inspect, identify optical equipment, including optical accessories, optical components, and other types optical equipment.
- Assist in the identification and classification of surplus optical equipment, even when little documentation is available.
- Collaborate with inventory, sales, and technical teams to provide expertise and guidance on optical systems.
- Stay updated on trends and advancements in optical technology to apply best practices.
Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience working with optical equipments in a technical capacity.
- In-depth knowledge of optical equipments.
- Proven ability to identify and evaluate optical equipment, including older and less common systems.
- Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate inventory and service records.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with optical accessories and components.
- Background in scientific, industrial, or research environments where optical equipment is commonly used.
