Job Overview
Job Description: BMH, LLC is a hydraulic repair shop located in Marne, Michigan and we are looking for a full-time Service/Bench Technician.
What you’ll do
· Tear down, size seals (will train), assemble and test hydraulic cylinders and valves.
· Basic welding for cylinder components.
· Demonstrates strong mechanical knowledge.
· Demonstrate proficiency with hand tools and shop math.
· Maintains a safe, clean working environment by complying with policies and procedures.
· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
· Willing to work in other areas of the shop as needed.
· Will train for welding.
· Must be 18 years or older and able to lift 50 lbs. plus.
· Ability to perform steel welding not a must we will train for this.
· Ability to read prints and tape measure.
· Able to understand fractions and basic math.
· Able to stand for duration of shift.
· Communicate effectively with co-workers as a team.
· Occasionally work overtime on Saturdays when approved and scheduled.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
