We are hiring an EHS Coordinator to  serve as the primary field and administrative support position for the EHS Department by assisting with compliance, inspections, training, environmental programs, documentation, and daily safety oversight.  As EHS Coordinator your responsibilities will include:

  

Safety & Facility Oversight

  • Conduct daily facility walkthroughs.
  • Identify hazards, spills, leaks, trip hazards, housekeeping concerns, and unsafe conditions.
  • Inspect waste, recycling, scrap, and hazardous waste areas.
  • Communicate findings and support corrective actions. 

Inspection Programs

Supports inspections for:

  • Fire extinguishers
  • Eyewash stations
  • Emergency lighting
  • Exit signs
  • Ladders
  • Forklifts
  • PPE stations
  • Spill kits
  • Housekeeping
  • Hazardous waste areas
  • Safety signage

Safety Committee Support

  • Assist with meeting preparation and administration.
  • Track action items.
  • Support inspections and employee concerns.
  • Follow up on corrective actions. 

Environmental Compliance

  • Support hazardous waste management.
  • Assist with stormwater and spill prevention programs.
  • Support recycling and waste segregation initiatives.
  • Maintain environmental documentation and records. 

Training & Employee Development

  • Assist with new hire onboarding.
  • Support OSHA-required training.
  • Maintain training records.
  • Track certifications and training compliance. 

Incident Management

  • Document incidents and near misses.
  • Assist investigations.
  • Collect evidence and photographs.
  • Track corrective actions through completion. 

Documentation & Compliance

Maintain:

  • Inspection records
  • Training files
  • Incident records
  • Permit files
  • Environmental records
  • Safety Committee documentation
  • Audit documentation
  • Compliance trackers

Continuous Improvement

Support:

  • 5S initiatives
  • Red Tag programs
  • Facility organization
  • Waste reduction efforts
  • Recycling improvements
  • Safety improvement projects

Requirements

  

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of OSHA and manufacturing safety practices preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to conduct inspections and maintain documentation.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency preferred. 

Physical Requirements

  • Daily walking through production, warehouse, office, and yard areas.
  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs. occasionally.
  • Ability to wear required PPE and work indoors and outdoors.

Salary : $19 - $23
