Job Summary

This position is responsible for safely climbing and working on telecommunications structures to install, maintain, and upgrade wireless equipment. The ideal candidate has prior cell tower experience, is comfortable working at height, and is motivated to grow within a fast-developing company.

Responsibilities

• Safely climb and work on telecommunications structures including monopoles, lattice towers, and rooftops
• Install, remove, and modify antennas, mounts, radios, coax, and fiberPerform rigging, hoisting, and material handling in accordance with safety and industry standards
• Assist with LTE, 5G, and C-Band upgrades and retrofits
• Route, dress, label, weatherproof, and ground coax and fiber
• Follow all safety procedures including fall protection, RF awareness, and job hazard analyses (JHAs)Complete daily reports, time tracking, and basic job documentation
• Maintain company tools, equipment, and PPE
• Travel to job sites as required and work variable schedules depending on project needs
• Communicate clearly with crew members, foremen, and management

Experience & Qualifications

• Previous experience in the cell tower / telecommunications industry preferredAbility to climb and work at heights (often 100–300 feet)
• Knowledge of industry safety practices and fall protection systems
• Understanding of RF safety and wireless construction standards
• OSHA 10/30, RF Awareness, and climbing certifications preferred or willingness to obtain
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to safety and quality

Important Note

This position requires prior tower climbing experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $37.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
