Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience operating various machinery, including press brake machines, CNC equipment, and other fabrication tools. This role is critical in ensuring the production of high-quality metal components while adhering to safety standards and specifications.
Responsibilities
- Operate press brake machines to bend and shape metal sheets according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine the appropriate machining processes.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure accuracy in production.
- Perform quality inspections on finished products to meet industry standards and specifications.
- Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Assist with the setup of CNC laser cutting, CNC milling machines, and other fabrication equipment as needed.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or in a similar manufacturing role is preferred.
- Familiarity with CNC programming, electrical discharge machining, plasma cutting, welding, and stamping press operations is advantageous.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and tooling for fabrication tasks.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining processes.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical documents accurately.
- Experience with quality inspection techniques to ensure product integrity.

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
