BMA is seeking a Simulation Support Team Technician to join our team in Fort Leavenworth, KS.
Job Summary
-
Support the ARNG Mission Command Training Support Program (MCTSP) in this full-time non-exempt hourly SCA position.

As part of the Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC), the Simulation Technician provides support to the MTC and other training facilities/deployed sites (as required).

Serves as the local hardware, software and functional expert for one of the following:
-
FIRESIM, BSWS, JDLM, MUSE or SENGEN.

Answers questions concerning operation of the system, troubleshoots problems and provides configuration management on software/hardware systems.

Provides formal classroom instruction to BSWS operators prior to constructive exercises.

Maintains setup, testing and troubleshooting guides for SME system.

Troubleshoots computer hardware, software, and basic networking configurations.
Clearance Requirements
There is a DoD Secret Clearance required for this position.
Required Skills & Certifications
-
Minimum of 1 year experience in the LVC-G field. Demonstrated experience in Live, Virtual, Constructive, Gaming (LVCG) federations, models, systems, tools and Mission Command Systems (MCSs)

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in setting up systems, troubleshooting, and software configuration issues. Military experiences preferred. Simulation experience preferred.

Must have an understanding of Windows OS and Linux OS.

Experience working in a high security environment and management of classified equipment; Understand the Risk Management Framework (RMF) certification and accreditation process and Information Assurance (IA) requirements.
Desired Skills & Certifications

Obtain and maintain CompTIA Security certification.
