Duties
- Perform regular lawn care tasks such as edging, fertilizing, and weed control to maintain lush, healthy grass areas and landscaped areas.
- Conduct landscape maintenance including planting, pruning, tree trimming, and shrub care to enhance visual appeal.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as excavators for landscaping projects and hardscape installations.
- Maintain the pool area by cleaning filters, inspecting safety equipment, and ensuring water quality standards are met.
- Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed.
- Pressure washing parking lot and walkways
- Perform routine inspections of grounds for hazards or damage, completing necessary repairs or notifying management for further action.
- Assist with tree care activities including planting, trimming, and removal to promote healthy growth and safety.
- Support general maintenance tasks around the property using various tools and equipment to uphold high standards of cleanliness and safety.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, lawn care, or groundskeeping preferred; mechanical knowledge is a plus.
- Familiarity with gardening techniques, horticulture principles, and landscaping practices.
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools effectively.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and troubleshooting water distribution issues.
- Strong understanding of tree care practices including trimming and pruning techniques.
- Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy equipment or materials when necessary.
