What are the responsibilities and job description for the AfterSchool Director- Tenaris position at Blytheville School District?
Description. The after school program director will oversee the afterschool program that will be implemented in partnership with Tenaris at the Blytheville Elementary School. The after school program will provide daily afterschool academic and enrichment activities for students at the school. The after school program director is an employee of the Blytheville School District based in the Blytheville Elementary School and will be provided an office at that location. This individual is a year-round employee (240-day contract) and will help implement and oversee after school programs during the school year and summer. The after school program director will work in a collaborative process with both Tenaris and the Blytheville School District to help improve academic and social skills of Blytheville Elementary School students.
Job responsibilities include:
- Aligning after-school literacy and math interventions with what students are learning during the school day
- Ensure consistency in instruction across multiple grade levels and activity leaders
- Promote special events or enrichment activities to encourage student curiosity and reward participation
- Motivate and support staff.
- Represent both Tenaris and Blytheville School System.
- Maintain discipline in the classrooms.
- Manage the budget, ensure payroll is accurate and submitted on time
