Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Lead QA Engineer to drive quality strategy, oversee end-to-end testing activities, and mentor QA teams across complex enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in QA leadership, automation frameworks, test architecture, and continuous quality processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead QA strategy, planning, and execution across multiple projects.
Architect and implement scalable automation frameworks (UI, API, Performance).
Define test processes, standards, and best practices.
Collaborate closely with product, development, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality releases.
Mentor and guide QA engineers; conduct code and test reviews.
Drive root-cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
Manage test environments, CI/CD integration, and quality metrics reporting.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
12 years of QA experience with at least 3–5 years in a lead/architect role.
Strong expertise in test automation using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit, Appium, Postman, or RestAssured.
Hands-on experience with API testing, microservices, and integration testing.
Solid knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Proficiency in programming/scripting languages: Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar.
Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to define quality metrics and drive continuous quality improvements
