Duties
- Mow lawns, trim edges, and perform general turf care using power tools and hand tools to ensure healthy, attractive grass areas.
- Maintain landscaped areas by planting, pruning, trimming trees, shrubs, and hedges with proper tree care techniques.
- Operate equipment such as stand-on mowers,weedeaters, backpack blowers, and other landscaping machinery safely and efficiently.
- Assist with hardscape projects including installing pathways, patios, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures.
- Perform routine landscape maintenance tasks such as aeration, fertilization, and gardening activities.
- Conduct snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access around the property.
Experience
- Prior experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance or gardening is highly desirable.
- Mechanical knowledge related to operating landscaping equipment such as mowers, or power tools is a plus.
- Familiarity with horticulture principles and plant care techniques enhances your ability to maintain healthy landscapes.
- Experience with tree trimming or tree care practices is beneficial for supporting arboricultural tasks.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for manual labor tasks is essential.
