Bluwood Residential Solutions is seeking compassionate, dependable, and professional Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide quality care and daily living assistance to residents within our residential care community. The CNA will support residents with personal care, mobility assistance, companionship, safety monitoring, and activities of daily living while promoting dignity, comfort, and independence.
We are looking for individuals who are patient-focused, reliable, and passionate about serving seniors, individuals with disabilities, behavioral health residents, transitional housing residents, and those requiring supportive care services.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including:
- Bathing
- Dressing
- Grooming
- Toileting
- Feeding
- Mobility assistance
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ physical, emotional, or behavioral condition
- Assist with medication reminders as directed
- Maintain accurate daily documentation and care notes
- Support residents during appointments, outings, or transportation needs
- Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping duties
- Ensure resident safety and maintain a clean, organized environment
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
- Follow infection control, HIPAA confidentiality, and safety procedures
- Communicate effectively with management, caregivers, nurses, and family members
- Respond appropriately during emergencies or incidents
- Maintain professionalism and respectful interactions at all times
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year caregiving or healthcare experience preferred
- Experience in assisted living, residential care, hospice, behavioral health, or home care is a plus
- Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents safely
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Dependable transportation preferred
- Must pass background screening and verification process
